After the hike, we drove around looking for a place to eat lunch, stopping at a Safeway grocery that had a deli. The girl at the check out couldn't believe we didn't have a Safeway savings card and that we'd never been to a Safeway before. Chris was like, well, do you have Kroger? Nope. We told her that's our grocery in Kentucky. This was a good stop for us because we discovered they have wireless Internet. So, we went back to the hotel and grabbed Chris' laptop and went back and looked up Web sites of tour places and motor scooter rentals.
That evening, Chris went back to Safeway to get some work done and, exhausted, I stayed in the hotel room and watched TV. I watched a 2-hour Dateline story about the families whose daughters' identity had been confused at an accident scene. I won't rehash the entire story here, but if you haven't heard their story, you should definitely check it out: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23849928/
These peple are absolutely amazing. Their faith is so strong and they present their stories so well--an awesome testimony of their love for Jesus Christ.
